Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It constitutes London Pharma & Chemicals Group Ltd. and subsidiaries’ slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ended 31 December 2020.
Our Organization
London Pharma & Chemicals Group Ltd. is the parent of companies involved in the promotion, sale and distribution of finished medicines and food supplements, as well as ingredients to the pharmaceutical, personal care, food, nutra and beverage industries. We employ approximately 150 people, all of whom are based in Europe (and Switzerland) and none of whom are in positions generally seen to be vulnerable to modern slavery.
Our Supply Chain
London Pharma & Chemicals Group Ltd is committed to continuously improve its practices to identify and eliminate any slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains, and to act ethically and with integrity in all its operations and business relationships.
Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our anti-slavery and human trafficking policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business or in our supply chains.
Due Diligence
We continue to monitor those suppliers in our supply chain which may present a modern slavery risk. Business Unit heads are responsible for identifying inappropriate employment practices and other potential risk areas and mitigating the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring.
Looking Ahead
Over the course of the next financial year, we will continue to enhance our procedures to help us identify, prevent and mitigate any risks of modern slavery or human trafficking in relation to new and existing suppliers.
